Pan sauted tilapia with balsamic butter glaze

I adapted this recipe from a multitude of different ones I found online…

I slimmed down the glaze, only adding a little butter to sweeten it and lightly floured the tilapia before frying it up with a little olive oil… I roasted some zucchini, eggplant, peppers and onions to go with it…

This is so simple to whip up…


  1. soak fish fillets in milk for 30 minutes prior to cooking
  2. heat oil in skillet on med-high
  3. Mix seasoned flour but using 1 cup of flour, 1 tbs of lemon pepper seasoning and 1 tsp salt
  4. dredge fish fillets in seasoned flour and place in hot skillet
  5. cook for 4-5 minutes on each side
  6. remove and serve!!!
Balsamic Butter Glaze
  1. reduce down 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar (boil for approx 5 minutes)
  2. once at a glaze consistency turn down heat
  3. add 1 tbs of butter and stir until melted
  4. drizzle over fish (or chicken!)
Roasted veggies
  1. we all know how to make these! chop up some random veggies
  2. mix veggies in a bowl with a 1-2 tbs of oil, salt, garlic seasoning and pepper
  3. spread evenly over greased baking sheet
  4. place in 400 degree oven
  5. roast for 10 minutes, flip veggies and roast for an additional 8-10 minutes
  6. watch to make sure they don’t burn if you have a crazy powerful oven!
  7. serve up with any main dish of your choosing
